Podcasting is a system where a teacher can record his or her voice reading a story, teaching a lesson or giving directions. Anything can be recorded that will enhance student learning. A computer program, GarageBand allows one to record his or her voice and add sounds and noises. The teacher can then use the podcast as a work station during reading time, or as an extra practice for an English Language Learner. The student can work independently using a podcast.
